Thank you for stopping by and checking out Simply Craftin by Shari. I started the business in May of 2021. I have been a crafter since I was about 10 years old. A couple neighborhood moms would teach some of the kid's different craft items from card making, cake decorating, sewing and scrapbooking. I love to try new things here and there. My daughters told me I needed to start selling my items.
In 2019 I purchased my first CO2 laser (Glowforge Pro) to help make some new items with wood. A laser was a game changer for me...I love it!
I happened to see someone was selling their brand new, still in the crate, Aeon Mira 9 and decided to buy that instead of waiting 6 months for one. With the new laser I am able to cut thicker wood, engrave powdered coat tumblers, etch metals and engrave glass. I can even cut paper and fabrics.
I love to do custom jobs that I can be a little more creative with. I can take handwritten recipes and engrave them on cutting boards, cake pans or sublimate on to a dish towel.
